A big thank-you to Steve, Claire and the other members of staff at Loves. I booked the chef's table for our 3rd wedding anniversary as I thought sitting next to the Kitchen and watching the food be prepared and created would make the night a little more special. We were not disappointed, the chefs table sits just to the side of the hot plate with a full view of Steve and his team creating the menu. The tasting menu was superb, highlights including salt and vinegar risotto, peanut brittle, Lamb 3 ways and the extra desert presented with 'happy anniversary' written along the edges of the plate! thank you.

I visited Loves after watching The Roux Scholarship on Good Food where Loves chef was a contestant. The restaurant was intimate without that feeling of being too close to other people and had a very warm and friendly feel to it. Claire introduced us to a new Rose wine, Whispering Angel 2009 - by far the most delicate beautiful Rose we have ever had the pleasure of drinking . We both had the taster menu, excellent value at £68 per person. Exquisit is all I can say. We are both very lucky in that we have dined in many nice establishments - this one put Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester to shame! Enough said.

We had not eaten here a while, so were very happy to return at last! Not disappointed at all as all the dishes we had were perfect. We were particularly happy with the fruit based deserts as neither of us are sweet / chocolate fans. As always talking to Claire about wines is a pleasure and she persuaded us to try the English sparkling wine - fantastic. We are great lovers of traditional French champagne but this did not disappoint. (think it was called knightsbridge?) Many thanks for a great evening Quentin & Maria

So pleased we finally managed to make it to Loves! Could not have asked for a better way to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The tasting menu was sublime and the service great. Plus we're now committed fans of English sparkling wine!! Thanks for a lovely evening. We'll be back soon!

Thank you for a wonderful evening yesterday. We were three work colleagues who like to meet to chat about other things and have 'gastronimc adventures'. The food was superb as was the service.

One of the best meals myself and my husband have ever had. The tastes and attention to detail in every course was amazing. Sensational parsnip and goats cheese amuse bouche! Terrific food and terrific service. All of my friends were bowled over by the magnificent feast we enjoyed. I had to drag them away. Otherwise lunch would have turned into dinner and my bank would have been writing to me again!
